Paul Garceau is a professional guitarist, producer and instructor based in Dallas / Ft Worth, Texas. He performs as a solo guitarist, in duet and trio format and with large party bands and worship teams.
Paul Garceau began his musical career at age 5 studying piano before switching to guitar. While a Jazz Studies major at the University of North Texas, he won a collegiate Downbeat Award and performed and toured with their world renowned lab bands.
Upon completion of his Bachelor of Music degree, Paul settled in Dallas. He began working with a variety of R&B, pop, rock and jazz bands throughout Texas, the Midwest, Canada, and Mexico. Paul has been a member of local favorites Signed Sealed Delivered, Random Axis, Tocar, The Bill Tillman Band, Tom Braxton and No Compromise and Dallas Brass and Electric. He also performs as an instrumental duo, trio or quartet. He has performed at venues too numerous to list and events including national conferences for Mary Kay and Interstate Batteries, the Ft Worth Main Street Festival, The Denton Music and Arts Festival, Taste of Dallas, the Gridiron Show and Artfest. Paul has also shared the stage or opened for such greats as The Pretenders, Faith Hill, Joe Lavano, Buddy Guy, Chubby Checker, Ambrosia, Three Dog Night, the Little River Band and Edgar Winter.
Paul has taught at the National Guitar Summer Workshop with some of the Northeast’s top teachers and clinicians and continues to teach privately. In addition to music performance, Paul is also involved in education and training in mathematics, audio/video production and wireless audio and network management. He also served as guitarist and band leader at Meadowcreek Community Church of Mesquite from 2000-2004 (now Lakepointe Town East) and as Music Kids Director at Win Kids in Flower Mound, Texas from 2006-2010. Currently residing in Lewisville, Paul is involved in education, is the proprietor of GuitarToGo, is a project manager, music director, performer and consultant with Absolute Entertainment and maintains a live performance and recording schedule throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
